Cinco de Mayo 2021 may turn out to be the wildest celebration in some time, and we’ve got the cocktail recipes you need to make it so. While most of the country (and the world) was locked down during St Patrick’s Day, it looks like we’ll finally be able to celebrate with friends and family again come May 5th. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of Cinco de Mayo cocktails that’ll be perfect for welcoming summer and enjoying the company of loved ones.

A Passion For Tequila – Created by Yolanda Baez, NYC
- 1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Fresh Passionfruit Juice
- 3/4 oz Agave Nectar
- Coconut Water to top
Combine Tequila Don Julio Blanco, fresh lime juice, fresh passionfruit juice, and agave nectar into cocktail shaker over ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a Collins glass over fresh ice and top with coconut water.
Fresh Ink Smoked Margarita
- 1.5 oz PATRÓN Silver
- .5 oz Fresh lime juice
- .5 oz Pineapple juice
- .5 oz Agave nectar
- 1 Pinch of smoked paprika
- + Smoked sea salt rim
- +Lime for garnish
Prepare a rocks glass by moistening the rim and rolling it in smoked sea salt. Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to chill. Fine strain over fresh ice cubes in the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime and a dusting of smoked paprika. Order it from Cocktail Courier.
- 1.5 oz Ardbeg An Oa
- 3 oz Blood Orange Soda
Pour ingredients over cubed ice. Garnish with orange wheel and a burnt sprig of rosemary.
Spicy Cucumber Margarita
- 3 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
- 1/2 part DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur
- 1 part Lemon juice
- 1 part Lime juice
- 1 part Agave Nectar (Optional)
- Mini Cucumber
Muddle 1-2 thin slices of jalapeño pepper in the bottom of a cocktail shaker with the lime, lemon and optional agave nectar juices. Add the Tequila, Triple Sec and a handful of ice. Shake and strain into a margarita glass over ice. Garnish with thinly sliced cucumbers, and Jalapeño slices (optional for spice).
Diablo en la Pista de Baile
- 1 1/2oz Don Papa Rum
- 1/2oz Reposado tequila
- 3/4oz Guava juice
- 1 thin disc of Serrano Chili
- 1/2oz Lime
- 1/2oz Agave
Muddle chili disc in shaker. Pour in Don Papa, tequila, guava juice, lime and agave. Add ice and shake. Strain into rocks glass w fresh ice. Garnish w lime wheel.
The Lost Explorer Huxley
- 1 oz / 30 ml The Lost Explorer Espadín
- 0.75 oz / 22.5 ml St. Germain Elderflower Liquor
- 1 oz / 30 ml Carpano Bianco Vermouth
- 0.5 oz / 15 ml Tio Pepe Sherry
- One drop celery bitters
- Lemon slice
Stir all ingredients together with ice. Strain into a coupette glass. Garnish with a lemon slice. Sip the sublime.
