Absolut Elyx and Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge have teamed up to launch the Going Bananas party series. Taking place at the Hilton Prague Hotel at Florenc in Czech Republic, the series of sunset parties spread across the rooftop bar where Vodka cocktails partner with unforgettable views to create one the summer’s most exciting programs.
Beginning July 24, a party will take place every Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. The series will come to a close with its largest event on Saturday, September 12 to celebrate Cloud 9’s 12th birthday. Entry is free and live music will accompany every event making it an ideal gathering spot for visitors and/or locals.
Prague’s summer season seems to be in full swing with the announcement of the Going Bananas party series and it seems the Hilton rooftop bar will be the place to be.
For those wondering, Prague was one of the first European countries to decree mandatory universal mask-wearing almost four months ago. Now, all of Prague’s shops, restaurants, schools and offices are open, and the government has lifted the last remaining restrictions on large public gatherings. And face masks are a thing of the past.
At the end of June, the city celebrated what many in Prague see as the end of the pandemic with a giant open-air dinner for 2,000 people clustered around a 515-meter-long table spanning the historic Charles Bridge. There were no masks and no social-distancing.
So if you’re wondering if it’s safe to go out in Prague, the answers seems to be “yes.” And hopefully, more cities will follow suit soon.
Absolut, meanwhile, has stepped out into the new normal with two sets of RTD cans. The Swedish brand has a total of six options in two different genres on offer, three Absolut Vodka Sodas and three Absolut Cocktails.
