Barking Irons has announced its new apple-based New York gin. Known for their award-winning applejack brandies, Barking Irons Gin begins with the same distilled apple base, before being blended with neutral spirits and a citrus-forward botanical blend that includes orange peels.
Continuing their New York to the Core campaign rooted in the brand’s provenance – Made in New York, from New York State apples – and established for the brand’s Applejack portfolio, the gin version adds, “with a twist” as a nod to the new spirit’s citrus flavor profile.
The campaign, developed by Phear & McGrath’s creative agency, will be supported with paid social and DIY OOH, and feature content that encourages New Yorkers (and New Yorkers at heart) to make up for lost time, gathering for cocktails with friends indoors and out, night after night, no excuses needed.

Barking Irons’ New York to the Core campaign highlights the resiliency of New York’s small businesses community, while also providing signage for liquor stores, bars, and restaurants, encouraging their respective patrons to abide by a New York to the Core pledge. The campaign also distributed face coverings for the trade community.
