Brockmans Launches The Properly Improper Society In Soho

Brockmans gin is launching The Properly Improper Society in London, a three-day event that celebrates individuality and the craft of cocktails. Situated in Soho on Bateman Street, the event will see a host of performances, cocktail masterclasses and musical experiences take place from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st of May.

Renowned for its blend of dark berries and noble traditions, Brockmans will transform the space across four rooms into a properly improper world with each space dedicated to different offerings. The Properly Improper Society will have a bar offering Brockmans’ cocktail creations to complement the flavour profile of the gin. Alongside the drinks, guests will be able to enjoy cocktail masterclasses to learn how to enjoy Brockmans at home, alongside live performances from musicians, DJs, comedians, and spoken word artists.

DJ’s

Thursday 19th May

DJ Pablo V – a DJ who has performed worldwide and is known for his eclectic music knowledge, versatile mixing skills and genre-bending sets.

Friday 20th May

Ben Lewis – supported by some of the biggest names in the business, he has been a DJ for 15 years and has played all over the world from New York to Ibiza.

Saturday 21st May

Velvet Thunder – a UK DJ who plays an eclectic mix of world music tracks mixed with funk, soul and disco.

Spoken Word Artists

Thursday 19th May

Harry Baker – the youngest ever person to win the Poetry World Slam championship will be performing

his incredible mixes of poetry, comedy and mathematics.

Ollie Feather – a poet and musician from South London whose performances are rhythm-driven verses

based on growing up in the city.

Desiree – spoken word artist, writer and facilitator based in London will also be performing her

award-winning poetry performances.

Elf Lyons – is an award-winning comedian whose innovative performances have gained a cult reputation

on the UK comedy circuit.

Friday 20th May

Jon Udry – is an incredible performer who will be combining juggling and comedy to create a unique performance that has earnt him spots at prestigious events and festivals such as Glastonbury.

Osman Yousefzada – the multidisciplinary artist whose work involves storytelling, autobiography and fiction to show the rupture of the migrational experience and socio-political issues of today

Live Music

Saturday 21st May

Billie – a jazz and soul artist who will be performing an eclectic mix with her band who have been creating musical synergy together for many years

Ellie Ford – is a UK based songwriter, harpist and vocalist who pushes the boundaries of what is possible with her instrument and songwriting

Cocktail Masterclasses
