Casa Dragones Tequila Pairs Up With Dandelion Chocolate

Casa Dragones Tequila Dandelion Chocolate Pairing

Casa Dragones Tequilas has teamed up with Dandelion Chocolate to create a perfect pairing, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The new offering from the spirits purveyor takes their long-aged 100% Blue Agave silver sipping Tequila and packages it with three distinct chocolates.

The Casa Dragones Tequila and Dandelion Chocolate Pairing features the master blended joven tequila in a signature blue gift box, and a packaged set of single origin chocolates, sourced from Belize, Colombia, and Ecuador.

The Casa Dragones Joven and Dandelion Chocolate pairing notes are as follows:

Maya Mountain, Belize – 2018 Batch 1

This chocolate pairing with Casa Dragones Joven packs a tropical punch. Delicate notes of fresh pear and citrus aroma linger on your palate, bringing forward the buttery mango and green banana characteristics of the chocolate, leaving a rich, and unsweetened cacao finish.

Costa Esmeraldas, Ecuador – 2018 Batch 1

The sweetness of the chocolate paired with Casa Dragones Joven brings a bright note of satsuma or tart cherry, with a beautiful herbal bouquet; at times it is juniper, at other times, anise, and always a bit of green grass. The finish leaves a warm note of sweet cream.

Tumaco, Colombia – 2017 Batch 2

A sip of Casa Dragones Joven brings out the savory spices in the chocolate, such as cinnamon, black pepper, and cayenne. On the finish, the pairing delivers a sweetness, roastiness, and slight bitterness that is reminiscent of the crema of a freshly pulled espresso.

The gift pack is currently on sale via Mel & Rose or Caskers and retalis for between $280 and $320.
