Cutwater Spirits has been named Distillery of the Year at the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge. The California brand picked up a total of 11 medals, including two Double Golds.
Cutwater Spirits’ Three Sheets White Rum scored 95 points, received a Double Gold, and was named Best Rum. The brand’s Tequila Reposado also took the other Double Gold, scoring 94 points.
The other major winner from the 2021 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge was Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 2020 Release, which was awarded Spirit of the Year and Brown Spirit of the Year. Distillery No. 209’s No. 209 Gin took home White Spirit of the Year.
