Edinburgh Gin has released five different Storybook gift packs, each paying tribute to a piece of classic literature. To add even more holiday cheer to the occasion, the Ian Macleod Distillers-owned brand has concealed a first edition of George Orwell’s 1984 worth up to $2,600 in one of the sets.
Released to coincide with the coming holidays, the limited edition Edinburgh Gin Storybook gift packs have been themed around famous books with spirited plays on their names. The five sets comprise: Journey to the Centre of the Serve, Olive or Twist, Paradise Found, The Winter’s Cocktail, and A Tale of Two Flavours.
Each beautiful gift pack contains various products from Edinburgh Gin’s vast portfolio, including London Dry bottling, flavored expressions and liqueurs. On top of that, they also come with cocktail making equipment.
One of the sets will have an original, first edition book. The recipient of the gift pack will be able to choose from a selection of titles including George Orwell’s 1984 and The Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock.
