Empress 1908 Gin has unveiled Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin. The gin is handcrafted and distilled in copper-pot stills by Victoria Distillers, one of Canada’s oldest, small-batch spirits companies.
Empress Elderflower Rose Gin is a blend of nine botanicals that create a delicate spirit with a an all-natural rose hue. Botanicals used include juniper berries, elderflower, orange peel, red rose petals, and black carrot. Roses are a traditional gin botanical with floral notes and a delicate aroma, while the black carrot adds a touch of sweetness and maintains the spirit’s vibrant ruby color.
The gin delivers a rich aroma and an understated floral palate. Additionally, it offers plenty of citrus and spice notes alongside a hint of sweetness.
