Four Pillars has teamed up with Melbourne venue Arbory Afloat to launch Beach House Gin. Back in 2019, the Yarra Valley distillery and bar & eatery collaborated on a Gin as well.
Four Pillars x Arbory Afloat Beach House Gin is pink and packed full of citrus tones as it utilizes lemon myrtle as well as grapefruit, orange, and lemon peel. Those botanicals are balanced by the flavors of Davidson plums, sweet strawberry gum and capped off with pineapple sage. The goal is to create a spirit that makes you feel like you’re on holiday.
Unlike the 2019 release, the 2021 variety will be available for purchase across Australia, not just at the bar. If you do make your way to Arbory, however, it will be available on tap in spritzes and mixed into G&Ts.
The label was created by Melbourne design studio 21-19 and Finnish artist and illustrator Antti Kalevi, which uses shapes and textures to create an abstract beachy landscape.
Four Pillars Beach House Gin goes on sale at 8am on Tuesday, February 9 for $90 AUD per bottle and can be picked up from Arbory Afloat or order through the venue’s website.
Those in the Melbourne area who simply can’t wait to try the new spirit can buy tickets to the launch party on Thursday, February 4. Tickets cost $145 AUD and Gin cocktails, beer, wine, sparkling, oysters and canapes are on the menu on Arbory Afloat’s pool deck. And music will be provided courtest of Harvey Miller Mobile Beach Club DJ of the Melbourne duo, Client Liaison.
In November, Four Pillars launched its Modern Australian Gin in the United Kingdom for the first time, just one month after beginning sales of its Bloody Shiraz Gin in the UK. In August, the Australian Gin maker added Olive Leaf Gin to its lineup. The new savory spirit from the has been infused with olive leaf and oil.
