Glencairn Crystal has expanded its portfolio with the addition of a Gin Goblet. The design of the new vessel is based on Scottish company’s mixer glass.
The Glencairn Gin Goblet features a lip and a curve design made for easy drinking and aroma enhancement. Furthermore, it enhances the drinking experience by needing less ice and has a stem to keep warm hands away from the Gin. Of course, it’s also made from crystal, which enhances the clarity of the drink and makes it the perfect weight in your hand.
“At Glencairn we are proud of our innovative history, having been at the forefront of ground-breaking crystal design and creation for nearly 40 years,” commented Scott Davidson, new product development director at Glencairn. “We always strive to listen and respond to customer demand with the ultimate aim of enhancing the spirit lover’s drinking experience.”
The Glencairn gin goblet is available for purchase via The Glencairn online shop for £10 ($13 USD), and can also be personalised with bespoke engraving.
Glencairn is most famous for its Whisky glasses, but also makes a variety of other crystalware, including bottles. Back in June, The Glenfarclas revealed its 63 Year Old Pagoda Sapphire Reserve, the final addition to its Pagoda series. The offering comes in jewel encrusted Glencairn crystal decanters.
Glencairn Crystal Studio designed all of the decanters for the Pagoda Reserve Series, which add significantly to the price tags. The Pagoda Sapphire Reserve decanter marks the first time that the company has created glassware featuring sapphires The front age statement on each decanter is embedded with 36 sapphires to construct the number 63, highlighting the age of the Whisky. Chinese Guardian lions are featured on the sides of the decanter and are engraved and infilled with a rich dark blue colour to match the blue crystal Pagoda shaped stopper.
