East London agaveria Hacha has partnered with The Lost Explorer mezcal for a bar takeover at Iceland’s Kokteil Barinn on Wednesday 10th May. The team visiting the Nordic island includes co-founder Deano Moncrieffe and Assistant General Manager Ben Guillou. The bartending duo will travel to the country’s capital, Reykjavík, to showcase The Lost Explorer’s handcrafted artisanal portfolio.
This marks Hacha’s first international takeover since opening in April 2019. Deano and Ben will present an exclusive menu of five Iceland-inspired cocktails made using each of The Lost Explorer’s three mezcal expressions; Espadín, Tobalá, and Salmiana. Deano has developed an Icelandic twist on Hacha’s famed signature cocktail, the Mirror Margarita, specially for the takeover.
