Jameson Distilleries Set To Reopen In Dublin And Cork

Jameson Distillery Bow St.

After more than three months of lockdown, Jameson distilleries are now set to reopen to the public. Starting July 13, 2020, visitors will once again be able to visit the famed grounds of both the Dublin and Cork locations where the golden spirit is produced, albeit with lower capacities due to social distancing requirements.

Starting today, those interested can head online and book a visit to the Jameson Distillery on Bow St. in Dublin and/or the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, Co. Cork.

The news was announced via the Pernod Ricard-owned brand’s official website:

“In line with the Irish Government’s Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business, we are happy to confirm that Jameson Distillery Bow St. Dublin and Jameson Distillery Midleton, Co. Cork both plan to re-open on July 13th 2020. As always, the health & safety of our teams, visitors & our communities is our top priority. We are currently putting thorough measures in place to ensure all our guests and staff will have a safe, comfortable & enjoyable experience at our Brand Homes. Full details of this plan will be made available in advance of our reopening. Our online booking site is now re-open for experiences at Bow St. or Midleton dated July 13th onwards. Pre-booking (via the link below) is strongly advised, as we will be operating at a lower capacity. We look forward to welcoming you. In the meantime, please stay safe. Best wishes, Jameson Brand Homes Team.”

You can book a tour of either distillery by heading here.

Annually both Jameson distilleries attract over 150,000 visitors and it is expected that the reopening of the spaces will be a boon to Ireland’s tourism industry.

Life seems to be getting back underway in the Whisk(e)y world overall. Late last month, construction began again at Johnnie Walker’s Princess Street visitors center in Edinburgh, Scotland.
