KFC 11 Herbed and Spiced Rum Is ‘Finger Liquor Good’

KFC 11 Herbed and Spiced Rum

Fast-food chicken franchise KFC has teamed up with Britain’s Dead Men’s Fingers to create their own 11 Herbed and Spiced Rum. The ‘finger liquor good’ rum is set to be made available come September.

The new serve–the fast food chain’s first ever venture into spirits–blends  notes of the rum brand’s Cornish flavors and KFC’s secret herb and spice blend. KFC is keeping its blend of 11 herbs and spices secret, but did note it includes black and white pepper. The rum, meanwhile, features notes of caramel, vanilla, treacle toffee, and nutmeg.

To celebrate the release, consumers will have the opportunity to try the rum at a pop-up chicken and rum shack in Margate, UK on September 1st and 2nd, with free chicken on offer. A bartender will be shaking the new rum into cocktails, including a Zinger Punch, The Colonel’s Colada, and a Fingers Lickin’ Good–though details on what exactly will be in those drinks remains scarce.

Tha beands recommend enjoying the spirit with cola or in a cocktail.

At this point there has been no mentioned of a US release.

The KFC 11 Herbed and Spiced Rum is available to purchase from The Drop Store or via Amazon for £25 ($32 USD). For more information, head over to Dead Man’s Fingers’ official website.

Back in September, Dead Man’s Fingers launched a Reposado Tequila. The offering is aged in bourbon barrels for a “silky-smooth taste,” says the brand.
