Award-winning tequila makers share exclusive expression with only 36 bottles available outside the US market
Award-winning, ultra-luxury tequila Komos has shared “Komos XO”. The brand’s most exclusive expression is produced in a limited quantity with only thirty-six bottles available outside the American market. Aged up to eleven years, and made in a single batch, using the rarest barrels and finest tequila, Komos XO joins the highly rated tequila collection as the brand’s ultimate blend.
In a meticulously crafted aging process, this tequila is aged in a combination of American oak ex-Bourbon and French oak ex-wine barrels, culminating in a final refinement in Spanish ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The barrels, ranging from 3 to 11 years in age, bring forth a unique and unrepeatable tequila, embodying the pinnacle of craftsmanship and flavour complexity.
The Komos XO tasting experience is supremely complex. Rich aromas of chocolate, vanilla, toast and smoke meet a full, textured palate of dried fruits, followed by a seemingly endless finish.
The rare liquid comes presented in an elegant etched crystal decanter with the clear bottle designed to showcase the rich opulent colour of the tequila inside, while maintaining the Komos shape. Each crystal decanter is marked “Batch No. 1”, cementing its position with collectors. The once-in-a-lifetime release will be exclusively available throughout Europe via Berry Bros. & Rudd and is bottled at a cask strength of 42% ABV. The bottle is housed in a custom-fit box, thoughtfully designed for gifting.
