Lark Distillery has unveiled the latest addition to its Whisky Bar Series, Savile Row. The newest offering in the collection finds the Tasmanian distillery heading to Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley to create a collaborative Australian whisky that manages to be both rich and smoky.
The Lark Savile Row collaborative whisky is a single malt with a Madeira finish that features a rich palate of dark cherry, hazelnut and developing apricot with a final flash of smoke on the finish. Just 210 bottles from cask LD2445 will be made available.
On the nose, the whisky delivers roasted coffee and light caramel, with orange blossom honey, and a touch of smoke. The palate finds chewy raisins and chocolate coated cherries, with developing apricot and hazelnut. The finish features an umami character with tobacco, subtle pepper, and a final flash of smoke.
Located behind an Orange Door in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, Savile Row is a modern day gem from another era where the charm of the old world sparkles under a crystal chandelier. The upscale multi-level venue provides an extensive whisky and cocktail list in old-world surroundings.
