Los Angeles’ Iconic Bradbury Building Opens Blade Runner-Themed Cocktail Bar, Wyman Bar

Wyman Bar Bradbury Building

NeueHouse, a private co-working space and members club, has opened a new location inside Downtown Los Angeles’ iconic Bradbury Building, and along with it a swanky new cocktail spot, the Wyman Bar. For a limited time, the space will serve up coffee and lunch drinks during the day, then switch to booze and wine at night.

Named for the architect of the Bradbury Building, the Wyman Bar looks to capitalize on the modern tech workplace, where co-workers stick around after clocking out and socialize with drinks while enjoying immersive exhibits or live entertainment. While most of NeueHouse’s events and spaces are solely for paying members, the company will open the Wyman Bar to the public for some time–exactly how long remains up in the air.

At NeueHouse, those spaces and events are mostly only for paying members, but the company is opening the Wyman Bar to the public for some time. Reps tell Eater that the bar’s public-facing component does not have an end date as of yet, and is expected to remain open through the end of the year at least.

“For a limited time, NeueHouse will offer complimentary membership day passes for those looking to experience The Wyman, subject to reservation availability,” said the brand.

Those who visit soon will get to revel in the world of Blade Runner (which was also shot inside the building and around DTLA). The bar showcases set images from the iconic film taken by late photographer Stephen Vaughan. The space was designed by DesignAgency and features a long marble bar, leather-backed stools, beautiful wood and splashes of brick.

Wyman Bar is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with evening hours Tuesday through Saturday from 5 pm until late at 304 S. Broadway. Reservations are required for non-members.

To make reservations, head over to NeueHouse’s official website.
