LSQ Rooftop Restaurant And Bar Opens In Heart Of London’s West End

This May, the heart of London’s West End will see the opening of British bar and restaurant, LSQ Rooftop. Bringing a new lease of life to a central London location, Number 1 Leicester Square is set to bring back a winning combination of outstanding cocktails and panoramic views of the iconic London skyline. 

To get to LSQ, enter Hotel Indigo via a side street off Soho and into a lift that will take guests to the 9th floor. Once there, guests will be greeted by floor to ceiling windows and a wrap-around balcony on which breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks can be enjoyed.

The LSQ Rooftop team have created a cocktail menu comprised of eight signature drinks, each inspired and named after famous London landmarks that can be seen from the terrace, including The Rooftop with Edgerton Pink Gin, fresh raspberries puree, sugar syrup, lime juice, topped with Prosecco; Big Ben with Kahlua, Baileys, Cacao Brown, Amaretto and Double Cream; and The Shard with Tanqueray Gin, basil leaves, cucumber, fresh lemon, syrup de gomme, and egg white. The bar will also feature a large selection of gins, ranging from the Gin Mare toAdnams Copper House. Wines and champagnes from around the world will also be on offer. 

The British menu includes an array of dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients from across the United Kingdom. A selection of smaller tapas plates such as crunchy pork crackling with chilli jam and maple glazed chantenay carrots, are on offer to accompany early evening drinks. Signature dishes of pigeon breast, berry compote & shimeji mushrooms and Gin cured salmon ceviche & rose water oil are on offer as starters. Followed by an indulgent main courses such as the Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb with orange roasted roots butternut squash puree, or Halibut, mussels, celeriac, apple & chives, with many more to choose from. The menu also caters for vegetarians and vegans alike with dishes such as Burnt aubergine, vegan crème fraiche, purple basil & pomegranate.

Opening on Monday, May 17, from 4pm onwards, guests are invited to arrive early and settle into the navy and gold banquette or pull up a stool at the curving bar. Wherever you are in the rooftop bar you’ll be in prime position to catch a coveted sunset view over The City with an LSQ sundowner cocktail in hand. 

Beginning June 1, LSQ Rooftop will open all day with breakfast, lunch and dinner on the menu. Head up to the top floor to impress clients and co-workers over a working lunch, or plan a weekend brunch high above the city.
