The Luna Cinema Reveals Winter Lineup of Favorite Festive Films

Screenings of Holiday Classics At Two London Venues – Kensington Palace and Battersea Arts Center

Returning to London this holiday season, the UK’s most popular cinema experience, The Luna Cinema, is screening films in two locations – kicking off on December 11th at Kensington Palace and December 18th at Battersea Arts Center. Films shown in the capital include “The Holiday”, “Love Actually”, “Elf” and “The Muppets Christmas Carol”.

The holiday lineup is provided by Luna Cinema, along with headline partner ITVX as part of its 2023 programme of classic film screenings. 

As the festive season officially kicks off, The Luna Cinema has announced two London venues for its winter programme – London’s Kensington Palace and Battersea Arts Centre. Both locations will help to spread festive cheer across the country, joining venues in Liverpool, York and Birmingham, also showing classic Christmas films in magical settings.

Pioneers of the UK open-air cinematic experience, The Luna Cinema’s winter programme encapsulates the magic of the season with over 100 screenings that promise to provide some welcome holiday cheer. Audiences can expect all the festive classics, including “Elf”, “Love Actually” – both of which are celebrating 20 years since their release, as well as the new blockbuster “Wonka”, Christmas classics“The Santa Clause” and “The Holiday”, and family favourites such as “The Grinch” and “Frozen”. 

London locals and visitors to the capital catching up on Christmas shopping won’t want to miss out on screenings both a choice of afternoon and evening slots at Kensington Palace and Battersea Arts Centre. With stunning lighting, festive dressing, a sprinkling of snow and giant Christmas trees, there’s no better setting to cosy up and enjoy a festive classic on the big screen. 

With food and beverages being a significant aspect of the holiday season The Luna Cinema has ensured there will be a fantastic selection of refreshments available across all venues. From a warming hot chocolate to a mug of mulled wine, Luna will offer options to make sure visitors have everything required to indulge in festive cheer.
