Independent spirit producer Maison Villevert has added a new spirit to its June by G’Vine collection of fruit gins – an inviting drink of Royal Pear and Cardamom.
Royal Pear & Cardamom marks the second addition to June by G’Vine, a collection of spirits that offers Maison Villevert’s G’Vine Floraison gin, infused with natural aromas of aromatics and fresh fruits.
In contrast to other gins which use traditional grains such as wheat and barley, G’Vine Floraison gin is made with grapes, the brand believes this approach offers a “more fresh, smooth and rounded taste”.
Ahead of the Royal Pear & Cardamom edition was Wild Peach and Summer Fruits – the first expression that launched the collection in 2019.
According to Maison Villevert, the spirit is ideal to drink on its own over ice, as well as in short or long drinks.
June Royal Pear & Cardamom gin will launch this summer as part of an exclusive in-store retail agreement with Booths supermarkets for £25 per 50cl bottle.
Chris Jones, managing director of Paragon, the UK distributor for Maison Villevert said:
“The size offers their customers a high-quality spirit at an excellent price point for a drink ideal for summer to consume at home but also as an idea gift to summer parties, picnics and BBQs,”
Pete Newton, spirits buyer at Booths, added:
“We are delighted to offer our customers this unique gin that captures the taste of summer, independently and expertly produced in France.”
