Miami Champagne Week Returns This October

The Florida Wine Academy has announced the 2021 events and dates for the Miami Champagne Week. The sixth annual, five-day celebration of all things sparkling will include both virtual and in-person events from October 11 through October 15.

Miami Champagne Week is, obviously, dedicated to the world-recognized French–no matter what Putin says– sparkling wine. Over the course of five days, visitors will be treated to events that educate consumers, while promoting and creating awareness about Champagne.  The festivities bring together some of the most prestigious Champagne experts in the industry to create unique, festive, and educational experiences for all French sparkling fans.

“Miami Champagne Week is a very special time for the Florida Wine Academy,” said co-founder of Florida Wine Academy, Alessandra Esteves. “One that unites our love for Champagne and the lively spirit of Miami for a week of unforgettable events. We look forward to introducing the South Florida community to the Champagne houses we love while always spreading the joy of Champagne.”

The first Miami Champagne Week event will be in webinar format, followed by two live tastings, one hosted at the Florida Wine Academy, and the other at its sister brand and South Florida wine shop, 305 Wines. The fourth event will incorporate a tasting and dinner hosted at the contemporary Italian restaurant, Fiola Miami in Coral Gables. Finally, Miami Champagne Week will wrap up with a tasting and dinner hosted at Fleming’s Steakhouse and Wine Bar in Brickell.

All of the events will be led by the certified wine educators from the Florida Wine Academy, and feature prominent wine leaders, including Masters of Wine and highly respected Champagne houses such as Dom Pérignon, Champagne Taittinger, Charles Heidsieck, Champagne Louis Roederer, Champagne Pommery, Champagne Perrier-Jouët, Champagne Ayala, Champagne Telmont, and Champagne Piper-Heidsieck,.

Registration for the events is open to the public with prices ranging from $15 to $300.
