Mor Original Irish Gin (also known as Wild Berry) comes from Tullamore in County Offaly, Ireland. Founded by Eoin Bara in 2015, this bold, berry-based Gin has a legacy stretching back to the 1930s when the founder’s grandfather was a master distiller of world renowned Irish whiskey Tullamore Dew.
Made out of the Arderin Distillery, Mor Original Irish Gin is the original product from a line that now features a Pineapple and a London Dry variety. All are handcrafted and thoughtful spirits, but it is the original, no surprise, that caught our eye first.
It’s a bold and refreshing tipple that features raspberries, blackberries, and cranberries, which are infused with juniper, coriander, angelica root, and rosemary. The result is a Gin that is at first earthy, with coriander and rosemary making a big impression, that then grows sweeter with big, fresh berry notes sitting at the core. The finish is slightly peppery.
If you’re looking to make a cocktail with the Mór Original Irish Gin, they recommend giving a Clover Club a whirl:
