Mor Original Irish Gin

Mor Original Irish Gin (also known as Wild Berry) comes from Tullamore in County Offaly, Ireland. Founded by Eoin Bara in 2015, this bold, berry-based Gin has a legacy stretching back to the 1930s when the founder’s grandfather was a master distiller of world renowned Irish whiskey Tullamore Dew.

Made out of the Arderin Distillery, Mor Original Irish Gin is the original product from a line that now features a Pineapple and a London Dry variety. All are handcrafted and thoughtful spirits, but it is the original, no surprise, that caught our eye first.

It’s a bold and refreshing tipple that features raspberries, blackberries, and cranberries, which are infused with juniper, coriander, angelica root, and rosemary. The result is a Gin that is at first earthy, with coriander and rosemary making a big impression, that then grows sweeter with big, fresh berry notes sitting at the core. The finish is slightly peppery.

If you’re looking to make a cocktail with the Mór Original Irish Gin, they recommend giving a Clover Club a whirl:

Mór Original Irish Gin Clover Club

  • 1.5 oz Mór Original Irish Gin
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz raspberry syrup
  • 1 egg white

Add all ingredients into a shaker, shake, and pour into a coupe glass. Garnish with a raspberry.

Mór Irish Gin are a company that does things differently and they truly believe that they came into the Gin market different from anyone else. The brand came in as a young company ran and staffed by under 30s who were willing to push the boat out in terms of the flavour, design, and product marketing. Their unique Wild Berry Gin and Pineapple Gin complemented by innovative and eye catching design make them unique amongst a growing variety of craft Gin becoming available across the globe.

The brand’s Gins can currently be found in Ireland, the U.K., Europe, and North America. They are also currently producing hand sanitizer to help in the fight against coronavirus.
