Motörhead Debuts New Ace Of Spades Bourbon At 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

Motörhead Ace Of Spades Bourbon Sturges Edition

Motörhead has unveiled a new Ace Of Spades Bourbon. The offering from the rock icons was made in partnership with Brew Pipeline and debuted at the 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The Motörhead Ace Of Spades Bourbon Sturges Edition is a high-rye bourbon that has been aged for four years in charred oak. Produced by Proof Artisan Distillers creators of nationally awarded spirits from Fargo, North Dakota, it comes in at 45% ABV and

On the nose, the whiskey offers “an initial distinctive “In-Your-Face” punch of a high rye bourbon, quickly evolves to a rounded balance of sweet notes including butternut and vanilla and toasted oak.” The palate delivers cinnamon, rye, black pepper and a hint of mint, while the 90 proof warmth eases into full bodied bourbon notes of oak, caramelized brown sugar, tobacco

Motörhead drummer Mikkey Dee and lead guitarist Phil Campbell were involved with tastings throughout the development of the high rye bourbon.

“We wanted to ensure that the bourbon would be able to stand on its own,” Brew Pipeline Founder and CEO Steve Kwapil said. “Proof Artisan Distillers quickly recognized the band’s vision and the end result is incredibly unique, complex and smooth.”

Ace of Spades album cover artwork appears on the bottle along with the signatures of Campbell, Dee and Kilmister.

The release, available for pre-order right now and nationwide distribution next month, will be priced between $39.99 and $49.99.
