Pierce Brosnan Is The New Face Of Don Ramon Tequila

Pierce Brosnan has joined Casa Don Ramon Tequila as its global spokesperson. The James Bond star will act as the face of the Mexican spirits brand and represent its Limited Edition Collection.

“I love the finer things, and Tequila Don Ramon Limited Edition is just that,” said Pierce Brosnan. “It takes you on a journey from the luxe packaging, to the first pour, to the initial sip.”

In his new role as global spokesperson, Brosnan will represent the Tequila Don Ramón Limited Edition Collection, small batch offerings with limited quantities available for purchase. There are three Tequilas within the range, Plata, Añejo and Extra Añejo, and each is presented in a Swarovski crystal-embellished bottle.

Made using 100% Blue Weber agave, which are slowly baked over the course of many days, Tequila Don Ramón is fermented and distilled under the watchful eyes of maestro tequilero and master blender Jesus Reza. Each expression within the LImited Edition Collection features a different amount of crystals on its bottle and at a different price point.

The Plata is a clear, double-distilled Tequila with delicate notes of agave on the nose. Each of the 10,000 bottles produced is embellished with 65 Swarovski crystals and priced at $250.

The Añejo bottling has aged for 12 months and can be described as “Intense and powerful, with high persistence and good intensity. With mineral notes and spices of cinnamon, cloves, and cumin.” Only 5,000 bottles have been produced, each priced at $349 and studded with 115 Swarovski Xilion Rose Hotfix crystals.

Tequila Don Ramón Limited Edition Extra Añejo has been aged for three years in oak barrels, producing a spirit with aromas of berries, cherry and wood notes. Just 5,000 bottles of the Extra Anejo have been produced and are each embellished with 178 Swarovski crystals and priced at $399.
