Reese Witherspoon Releases The Editor’s Edition Rosé

Reese Witherspoon The Editor’s Edition Rosé

Reese Witherspoon has teamed up with Sonoma-based SIMI Winery on The Editor’s Edition Rosé, a wine created to complement her book club.

Made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cultivated in Sonoma County, the SIMI Editor’s Edition Rosé Wine is described as having aromas of “white peach, citrus and strawberry flavours rounded out with a kiss of watermelon.”

Witherspoon’s partnership with SIMI Winery came about in part because of one of the company’s founding figures, Isabelle Simi, and her resilience through prohibition in the 1920s. Both the current Senior Winemaker and Winemaker at SIMI are women. The rosé isn’t the first wine released in The Editor’s Collection – a 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2019 Chardonnay are also available.

Witherspoon joins a long line of actors entering the wine world. Recently, Cameron Diaz has taken the wine world by storm with the launch of her Avaline wine brand.

Reese Witherspoon’s The Editor’s Edition Rosé is on sale at Target, where it retails for $18.99. It is intended to be enjoyed whilst reading one of Witherspoon’s recommended books of the week.
