Rooster Rojo has added Smoked Pineapple Infused Añejo tequila to its portfolio. This will be the first new release from the Fabrica de Tequilas Fino in the UK since Amber Beverage Group acquired the distillery.
Rooster Rojo Smoked Pineapple Infused Añejo is made entirely from Blue Weber agave. The tequila is aged for at least 12 months in ex-bourbon barrels, then infused with red Spanish pineapples that have been smoked to deliver an extra layer of complexity.
Plenty of the classic Rooster Rojo Anejo notes are to be found on the forefront before waves of refreshing juicy pineapple develop alongside hints of banana and a spicy finish.
