Ryan Reynolds, Sean “Diddy” Combs, David Beckham and their alcohol brands owner, Diageo, have teamed up to donate $1 million to help support bartenders. The news of the donation comes via comedic video released by the trio of stars, in which they ‘attempt’ to combine their three spirits brands–Aviation American Gin, DeLeón Tequila, and Haig Club Whisky–into one and the results are terrible.

In the video, Reynolds, Diddy, and Beckham combine flavors from Tampa Bay, Florida, and Kansas City, Missouri, in honor of the Super Bowl, with their favorite spirits to make cocktails. After their drink fails to impress, they all agree on the need and importance of bartenders.

The video is all in good fun and points out that Diageo is donating $1 million to support the bartending community, which continues to be majorly affected by COVID-19. The donation will be split between Another Round, Another Rally, a non profit financial resource for the hospitality industry in the U.S. which provides reimbursement grants and immersive educational scholarships; Bartender’s Benevolent Fund, a nationally registered non-profit and financial resource for hospitality professionals in Canada; and Drinks Trust UK, an organization which has been providing support, care, and assistance to the drinks industry workforce since 1886.

In other news of the drink giant continuing to improve our world in various ways outside of making delicious drinks, earlier this month Diageo invested £550,000 ($752,000 USD) into the construction of a weir in efforts to increase biodiversity and the sustainability of fish stocks in Scotland’s river Dullan and Spey water catchment. The spirits giant collaborated with the Spey Fishery Board on the construction of the low dam on the river Dullan, part of the river Spey catchment that is crucial to Speyside’s Scotch Whisky industry.
