If you like Gin and easter eggs, then Salcombe Gin has a new drink that you’re going to love. The English brand has unveiled a special drink for the Easter holiday called ‘Easterly Gin’ – a new tipple that combines hints of vanilla, cherry, citrus notes and a chocolate-finish – all with a view of conveying the flavors of the holiday.

Salcombe say that the new beverage will: “Take the drinker on a trip down memory lane to the fun and excitement of Easter treasure hunts.”

Expert food and drink tester Mel Giandzi from Good Housekeeping was enormously impressed by the drink, saying:

“The new Easterly Gin from Salcombe Gin definitely reminds me of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange with its heady mix of cacao nibs and uplifting orange peel. It has a really lovely, zesty orange bite with a smooth and decadent chocolate taste. This well-balanced gin would be perfect in a classic G&T or perfectly paired with creamier additions to enhance its sweet flavours.”

Distilled with organic cacao nibs, coconut, almond, fresh orange peel, and vanilla, and carefully handcrafted in Salcombe, Devon, Easterly truly creates the Easter egg taste. Then balanced with English coriander seed and orris root. traditional Macedonian juniper, all of which is complemented with cherry and honey.

Salcombe Gin have a serving suggestion that’s as simple as it is tasty: serve straight from the freezer over ice, topped with premium tonic and garnished with a twist of flamed orange peel to: “ignite the senses.”

We can’t think of a more fun way to enter into the spirit of things this Easter, than this seasonal tipple of Gin with Tonic.

Bottled at 42% ABV, Salcombe Easterly Gin is available from the brand’s official web store, The Victuallers & John Lewis for £37.50 ($52 USD) per 50cl.

In October, Salcombe Gin teamed up with Chateau Climens to create the sauternes cask finished Phantom Gin.
