Scarfes Bar is partnering with Appleton Estate Rum on an exclusive cocktail menu for the month of August. The London bar will showcase the cocktail “Sage & Glory”, as well as tastings of Appleton 17 Legend. The limited cocktail will be available throughout the month for £22, alongside Scarfes Bar’s new menu ‘10’ which pays homage to its milestone ten-year anniversary.
Sage & Glory is a bright, light, and floral mix of Appleton Estate 12, Pear & Sage, Amontillado Sherry, and London Essence Ginger Beer. The cocktail was created by team to celebrate the flavours of the 12-year-old rum, and complement its rich mouthfeel and body. Alongside the cocktail, guests can also enjoy tastings of Appleton 17 Legend, a recreation of the 17 Year Old crafted by Caribbean exporter J Wray & Nephew in the 1940s, which was said to me one of the most sought-after bottles in the world. The tastings are available for £120.
Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London is inspired by the atmosphere of a drawing room, with live jazz music playing each day and is located a short distance from London’s Covent Garden. The bar is named after the renowned British artist and caricaturist Gerald Scarfe, whose artwork adorns the walls of the bar and is encompassed within the cocktail menus.
