What inspired the name? What’s this drink’s origin story?
The Holy Water’s name is an ode to New Orleans’ deep Catholic roots. It’s been on our menu since day one, and it’s inspired by tropical drinks, and the city’s history of the rum trade and love of chartreuse.

Ingredients:
- ¾ Oz. Cognac
- ¾ Oz. Spiced Rum
- ¾ Oz. Orgeat
- ½ Oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- ½ Oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- ¼ Oz. Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- 1 Barspoon Green Chartreuse
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters, to float
- For the Garnish:
- Hollowed-Out Lime
- Raw Sugar
- 151
- Fire
Directions:
- Add the rum, cognac, orgeat, lemon juice, lime juice and grapefruit juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into a highball glass over crushed ice.
- Float the bitters over the top of the drink.
- Juice half a lime and place the empty lime shell on top of the drink.
- Pour the 151 into the lime shell. Place a little raw sugar in the lime and ignite with a match or lighter.
