Bruno Mars’ SelvaRey Rum has announced that it has signed a new national distribution agreement with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC). RNDC assumed exclusive distribution rights of SelvaRey Rum in 32 markets across the United States, beginning on August 1, 2021.
“The timing is perfect for RNDC to bring the best rum out there to more people across the country,” said Bruno Mars. “As our partners, they genuinely understand the quality and love in these products, and what the SelvaRey brand is all about – transporting you to a world of tropical luxury with every sip.”
“We are excited to begin a lasting, fruitful partnership with SelvaRey Rum,” said RNDC President and CEO Tom Cole. “SelvaRey has a unique position in the fast-growing ultra-premium rum segment, and we are proud to help them expand their reach.”
In January, SelvaRey launched its Owner’s Reserve offering, a single estate offering hand-selected from the cellars of SelvaRey’s Master Distiller, Don “Pancho” Francisco Fernandez. It is a blend of rums aged between 15 and 25 years.
In June, Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak showcased the SelvaRey rum empire in a creative content series, which highlights the launch of SelvaRey Coconut – the latest addition to the line of ultra-premium rums.
RNDC now carries the full SelvaRey portfolio including:
SelvaRey White Rum — A Cristalino blend of 3 and 5-year-old rums.
SelvaRey Coconut Rum — A light aged rum infused with coconut, made to elevate any Piña Colada.
SelvaRey Chocolate Rum — A 5-year-old rum infused with chocolate, that’s ideal when used in coffee cocktails.
SelvaRey Owner’s Reserve — A rare and highly allocated blend of rums hand-selected from the finest vintages from 15 to 25 years old.
