Summer Slam: Edinburgh Gin Releases Raspberry Gin Fizz Cans

Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Gin Fizz Neighborhood Pack

Summer is just around the corner and Edinburgh Gin is celebrating by releasing Raspberry Gin Fizz cans. A mix of sparkling wine and raspberry liqueur, the ready-to-drink cocktail is also part of the Ian Macleod Distillers-owned company’s mission to reward communities who have pulled together during the coronavirus crisis.

Raspberry Gin Fizz sounds like a summer we can certainly enjoy, add in the ease of it coming to a can, and we might have found the Whiteclaw’s new title challenger. “We’ve taken a serve we know our consumers love and given it back to them in a pre-mixed, convenient format,” said Neil Boyd, UK managing director of Ian Macleod Distillers. “The RTD category has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and now, more than ever, consumers are looking for convenient pre-mixed options – which is why we decided to bolster our award-winning range of premium RTDs with this exciting release.”

To coincide with the launch of the RTD Raspberry Gin Fizz cans, the brand has created a special, supersized ‘Neighbourhood Pack’ to be delivered to streets throughout the country who have shown the greatest community spirit throughout the COVID-19 crisis. The public will be able to nominate a deserving neighborhood to receive the limited-edition packs free of charge.

Edinburgh Gin is asking people to nominate their community via the brand’s online channels, sharing an example of a good deed that’s happened in their community.

The Neighborhood Packs have been specially designed to allow neighbors to toast with one another while practicing social distancing. Each pack includes 24 cans of Raspberry Gin Fizz, doorstep gift bags and postcards that carry messages of thanks.

“Everyday acts of kindness are all around us and they deserve to be celebrated in some way,” said Boyd. “We realised that as well as being a great celebratory cocktail, our new Raspberry Gin Fizz cans offer a safer way for people to enjoy a drink from a distance.

“That’s why we wanted to give the best of Britain the chance to raise a can with one another before its official release, to recognise their incredible contributions over the last few months.”

A select number of Neighborhood Packs will also be available to purchase at EdinburghGin.com, priced at £20 (US$24.50) for 12 or £40 (US$49) for 24.
