A new wine advent calendar is about to level up everyone’s holiday season. Made by In Good Taste, a brand known for curating wine samplers, the 24 Nights of Wine Advent Calendar promises to be one of the more enjoyable ways to countdown to Christmas.
The 24 Nights of Wine Advent Calendar from In Good Taste features a sampler of 24 wines in 187-milliliter bottles (that’s a little more than one glass per bottle). Red wines, white wines, and rosés are all part of the set and from destinations like Mendocino Valley, CA; Burgundy, France; and Sicily, Italy. The set is actually made of wines from four of In Good Taste’s collections: California Wine Mixer, Wild Child Collection, Passport Collection, and the Cascade Collection.
Unfortunately, the calendar doesn’t ship till November, but that’s probably best for anyone hoping that the wines will actually make it to the holidays.
This year’s edition features different wines than previous releases, but all of those have been met with glowing reviews. “Ordered this for my brother since we couldn’t be together at Thanksgiving and he is having so much fun with it. Great packaging and pairing ideas. Just perfect. Wish I had ordered one for myself so that we could share a virtual evening toast,” said Mindy about last year’s calendar.
Another happy customer commented, “I am obsessed with my wine advent calendar! It’s such a great way to try all the wines and has really given me something to look forward to during these covid times. Can’t do any holiday parties this year, but my sister and I have made this our new tradition!”
Generally, the calendar costs $150, but at the moment it’s just $135 and available from the company’s official website.
