What’s the crowd like?
Here you’ll find people who love LA for all the right and wrong reasons. Some are there for the scene, others are there to be seen, and still others just enjoy a bit of history with a martini.
What am I drinking?
A martini or a manhattan. Come here to drink classic cocktails with heavy pours, you know, like the ones from Hollywood of yesteryear.
Is there anything to eat?
Yes. There are full menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The tuna tartare is always good and extra points if you manage to make it upstairs before 11am and order a martini with some eggs (poached, obviously).
When should I get here?
An afternoon lunch meeting here is somewhat of a classy move, but if you’re just swinging by for the scene, after dinner drinks is probably the way to go.
Why am I here?
Like Musso & Frank, you’re here because it’s Hollywood (even if it’s West Hollywood in this case). It’s a place to drink martinis amongst the stars or former stars or just to get a sense of why you came here in the first place.
