WhistlePig Debuts 2022 Farmstock Beyond Bonded Rye And Bourbon

WhistlePig Farmstock Beyond Bonded Rye And Bourbon 2022

WhistlePig has launched two new bottled-in-bond whiskeys, FarmStock Beyond Bonded Rye and FarmStock Beyond Bonded Bourbon. The new offerings both come in at 100.1 proof.

FarmStock is WhistlePig’s collection of expressions made with grain-to-glass / farm-to-bottle whiskey – crafted in Shoreham, Vermont with grain harvested from the brand’s farm, distilled and proofed with water from their own well, and aged in Vermont Estate Oak casks from the woods surrounding their home. The original FarmStock trilogy – Rye Crops No. 001, 002 and 003 – were released from 2017-2019, using up to 52% WhistlePig grain-to-glass whiskey blended with older whiskeys. Last year, the distillery released its first offerings made completely on the estate.

According to the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, ‘bonded’ whiskey must be the product of one distilling season from one distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at 100 proof.

WhistlePig FarmStock Beyond Bonded releases are 100% WhistlePig Farm whiskey (the product of one distilling season from one distillery), are handcrafted in the toughest farming conditions in the country, are aged in a federally bonded warehouse for a minimum of 4 years, 1 month and 30 days, and up to 5 years, 2 months and 16 days, are single barrel releases, and each bottle features 30 unique facts specific to the grain-to-glass journey of its individual barrel.

FarmStock Beyond Bonded Rye is made from 100% Remington Rye, and FarmStock Beyond Bonded Bourbon is made from a high rye bourbon mash of 51% Dent corn, 49% Remington and Rifle Rye.

Just 47 barrels of the new FarmStock Beyond Bonded Single Barrel Rye and Bourbon are available. The whiskey is priced at $99.99 per 750ml bottle.

In April, WhistlePig Whiskey and Barstool Sports teamed up to launch the new single barrel Legends Series with the first of three iterations created in collaboration with David Ortiz (“Big Papi”).
