For the first time ever, fans of The Macallan single malts will be able to purchase their favorite Scotch whiskies from the brand’s website. It’s perfect timing to with Father’s Day just around the corner and consumers across the United States can now make sure Dad gets exactly what he has been asking for. The Macallan partnered with e-commerce company Thirstie Inc. so that they could make their spirits just a couple of clicks away.
The Macallan’s website will now act as both a place for information and a virtual store for fans to shop the brand’s extensive range of single malt Scotch whiskies without needing to leave its website.
In honor of the launch and due to the coronavirus crisis that has caused the hospitality industry to struggle more than ever, The Macallan has dedicated itself to providing support to the James Beard Foundation Open for Good campaign which supports the rebuilding of the independent restaurant industry through programs, education, and financial resources. In addition, Edrington, The Macallan’s parent company, has donated to the USBG Bartender Emergency Assistance Fund as they too strive to be another trusted resource for the bar industry in these uncertain times
From June 15 through July, consumers will receive free shipping on all orders and 30% of proceed from the purchases made on TheMacallan.com will be donated to the James Beard Foundation’s Open for Good campaign.
