George Dickel is bringing back a fan favorite. First launched in 2016 as a 375ml bottling, the George Dickel Reserve 17 Year Old instantly became the stuff of legend amongst fans of the iconic brand.
Hailing from the historic Cascade Hollow Distilling Co, the new George Dickel Reserve is a cask-strength offering aged 17 years. Inspired by the previous release, General Manager and Distiller Nicole Austin intentionally searched for barrels that captured what made the original liquid special. With a woody, robust profile, the new release pays homage to the old liquid while featuring subtle contrasts that differentiate the two.
The bottling boasts complex aromas of crème brûlée and apricots with hints of plum and juniper on the palate and a rich cedar finish. The brand recommends enjoying the whiskey neat or over a large ice cube.
Bottled at 46% ABV, the new George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve is priced at $250. For more information, head over to the brand’s official website.
Last month, George Dickel once again teamed up with Leopold Bros on their Collaboration Blend.
