Green tomato liquor and soda mixed with tequila serve to make La Tomatera a vegetal and fresh cocktail that’s completely unique to Angelita. Like much of their menu, the drink celebrates Angelita’s greatest gift: its homegrown produce and puts one of our favorite ingredients right at its center.

What inspired the name? What’s this drink’s origin story?
In our menu, each plant is a cocktail, using all the parts of the same plant that we can/know how to use. We only make cocktails with products from our garden or its surroundings. Our tomato in the cold months ripens due to lack of temperature and hours of light, so we use it green, unripe.

It is a fresh, vegetal highball. a little like a moscow mule instyle
