The second floor of Mary Brickell Village in Miami just got a new cocktail space focused on spirits from the Americas, Panamericano Bar
Mary Brickell Village in Miami is getting a new cocktail destination, Panamericano Bar. The bar focuses solely on spirits from North, South, Central, and Caribbean America, and replaces traditional European ingredients with regional alternatives, like Peruvian vodka, Mexican gin, and, of course, a bunch of rums and agave,
The focal point of Panamericano is its T-shaped bar by Norwegian design firm Behind Bars, which looks to place visitors at eye level with bartenders. Dramatic red curtains hang across one wall, while plush red banquettes and herbal green chairs fill the rest of the space, giving it a theatrical feel.
Bartenders focus on modern techniques like milk clarification and forced carbonation, while also creating regional interpretations of classics. Cocktails include a variety of Americas-inspired concoctions, including From Argentina With Love (Bosque Gin, ChainBridge Distillery pear eau de vie, hazelnut, malbec reduction, acids, salt, green tea, cardamom, orange zest, poached pear leather, and CO2), Remember The Maine 2.0 (Michter’s whiskey, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Argentinian sweet vermouth, St. George Spirits absinthe verte, Mexican px, Hotel Tango Distillery cherry liqueur, salt, and chocolate), and Barries & Samba (Avua Cachaca, raspberries, pomegranate, lime, salt, bubbles, and merengue).
Visitors can also expect guest bartender shifts with takeovers from bars like Kaiju and Swizzle Rum Bar.
Panamericano Bar is located on the second floor of Mary Brickell Village at 900 S Miami Ave #260, Miami, FL 33130. It is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5pm to 12am, and Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 2am. For more information or to book a table, head over to the official website.
In August, ViceVersa opened in Downtown, bringing Miami an exciting new location for Italian aperitivo cocktails from the founders of acclaimed Jaguar Sun.
