Paris’s first tapped cocktail bar, The Honey Moon, has unveiled a new drinks menu inspired by fall ingredients and cozy vibes.
The Honey Moon Cocktail Bar in Paris’ 11th arrondissement has unveiled a new, autumn-inspired cocktail menu. Known as the French capital’s first tapped cocktail bar, the latest set of drinks are inspired by the changing whether and including everything from crisp, spiced concoctions to refreshing spritzes.
The cocktail menu is divided into four parts: Citrus & Bubbles, Citrus No bubbles, Bubbles No Citrus, and No Citrus No Bubbles. Featuring a mix of timeless classics and original creations, all drinks are carefully crafted in-house in the bar’s lab.
Highlights include the Appletini (a play on the somewhat modern classic that blends the candy-apple martini of the 90’s and the dry vodka martini); the Mizuwari No.2 uses whiskey cut with water, taking inspiration further into old fashioned territory, utilizing a special umami-rich syrup and a toasted rice green tea; the Jimmy Carter is made with peanut butter-infused Bourbon, Carpano Bitter, and Cherry Liqueur (a bubbly, modern twist on a Boulevardier). Non-alcoholic cocktails, meanwhile, include the Châtaine, featuring roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, allspice, star anise, verjus with notes of chestnuts and Cherry Tonic, with a deep black cherry cordial and a walnut bay leaf infused in a red wine reduction.
“We’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of cocktail culture,” says Creative Director & Barman, Ben Wilson. “Our tapped cocktails not only improve service efficiency but also ensure every drink is perfectly balanced and served at the ideal temperature. It’s a blend of tradition and modernity, where classic cocktails meet contemporary technology.”
The 90’s inspired cocktail venue’s tapped-only concept was designed to elevate the bar’s offering with both convenience and creativity; allowing guests to experience high-quality mixology without having to wait hours to get a drink. The lively interior features originally shaped lamps, vibrant colors that scratch from shades of copper to oxidized green, and a ceiling with multi-colored lights. The speakers, meanwhile, play 90s B-sides, R&B, and the Spice Girls.
The Honey Moon Cocktail Bar is located at 15 rue Saint Sabin, Paris, France 75011 and is open Monday thry Sunday 6pm to 2am. For more information, head over to the bar’s official website.
