The Australian Open has teamed up with Grainshaker Australian Vodka. The Melbourne-based tennis tournament has reached a multi-year partnership with the Melbourne brand, naming it the Official Vodka Partner of the championships.

Produced in Melbourne by Top Shelf International, Grainshaker hit the market in October 2020. “AO 2021 is proud to support local, emerging Australian brands, such as Grainshaker Australian Vodka, with the tournament’s food and beverage hospitality offerings across the Melbourne Park precinct,” noted the tournament.

“Part of our vision for the AO this year was to play our role in promoting the best Melbourne and Victoria had to offer, in terms of food, beverages and experiences,” Tennis Australia Chief Revenue Officer Ben Slack said. “Grainshaker is an innovative local Melbourne brand and is a great example of this, and we are delighted to showcase them as the Official Vodka Partner for AO 2021. We know our fans and partners, both onsite and watching from home, will enjoy Grainshaker drinks as part of their AO experience.”

The Vodka will be served at select AO 2021 food and beverage outlets, hospitality spaces and restaurants, including six specially curated cocktails in the premium Atrium bar. It will also have a presence at the new COVIDSafe dining pods on Grand Slam Oval in the Rod Laver Arena zone.

The Grainshaker Australian Vodka Bar, meanwhile, promises to be the spot to be seen for avid tennis fans at the 2021 Australian Open. It will be located within the MCA Zone near the Western Courts.

“The Australian Open is recognised around the world for the quality of its customer-focused experience and we’re thrilled to join an event of this international standing in our own backyard,” said Top Shelf International Chief Executive Officer Drew Fairchild. “We are bringing Grainshaker to life with a sense of fun and excitement. Grainshaker is a premium Australian Vodka that takes the best of local produce and process – the unique character of Australian grains combined with TSI’s distilling expertise and an Australian attitude – to create a range of premium, hand-crafted, health conscious vodka products that are inclusive, fun and fit perfectly into the Australian way of life. From the silo to the serve, it’s vodka the Australian way.

“Fans will be able to enjoy our three ready to drink products around the AO precinct, as well as our premium bottled spirits via a range of special cocktails curated by TSI Master Distiller Sebastian Reaburn in the Atrium Bar,” said Fairchild.
