Martini has released three ready-to-drink offerings, including two alcohol-free aperitivo and tonic waters. The trio of new expressions mark the Italian brand’s first foray into RTDs.
The new line of Martini RTDs is comprised of Martini Fiero and Tonic, Martini Non-Alcoholic Vibrante and Tonic, and Martini Non-Alcoholic Floreale and Tonic. The canned offerings have been made with the same wines used to produce the brand’s vermouths. They will be available across Europe beginning in April.
Victoria Morris, vice-president of Martini, said: “We know outdoor socialising will be key this spring and these three new RTDs are an easy way to enjoy a delicious drink without foregoing quality for the sake of convenience.”
Bottled at 4.7% ABV, the canned Fiero and Tonic RTD offers citrus notes from the orange peel, and bitterness and herbal aromatics from the artemisia.
Alcohol-free Vibrante and Tonic delivers a blend of natural botanicals, including Italian bergamot, and has a citrus aroma. Non-alcoholic Floreale and Tonic features a “floral tasting experience.”
The Martini RTDs will be available to buy from Amazon and are priced at €2.25 ($2.60 USD) per 250ml can. Martini Fiero and Tonic will be available in Portugal and Germany from March, Spain from April, and Italy from June 1. The non-alcoholic RTDs will be available in France this month, and Belgium and the Netherlands from April 1.
In February, Martini & Rossi announced the launch of Martini & Rossi Fiero in the United States, one of the Bacardi-owned brand’s biggest innovations in 30 years and a new wine-based aperitivo entry to the drinks market. Designed to be enjoyed during the aperitivo hour (or hours if you’re like us), a daily moment where drinks and snacks are enjoyed in good company with friends and family before dinner, the spirit is a blend of white Wines and carefully sourced botanicals.
