BABE 100 Rosé has arrived, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The new offering from the canned wine makers is designed to be light and refreshing like a hard seltzer–boasting just 100 calories and zero grams of sugar–but is actually Wine. The hard seltzers were first soft-launched in San Diego last year, but are now available nationally.
With the crisp and delicious taste of wine, 100 calories and 6.9% ABV, BABE 100 was created to deliver the best of two worlds. Each can of BABE 100 is equal to one full glass of wine and is perfect to grab and go for any occasion. It’s made for everything from beach days spent with your whole crew to wine nights watching cheesy rom-coms with your best friend. It comes in a soothing lavender can that’s easy on the eyes.
“Seltzer is one of the fastest-growing categories in alcohol, and over one-third of seltzer drinkers came from wine,” says BABE’s General Manager Chelsea Phillips. “But why should wine drinkers have to choose between the taste they love and a light and refreshing drinking experience? After our successful soft-launch in San Diego last year, we’ve decided to expand BABE 100 Rosé nationally.”
BABE 100 joins the rest of BABE’s canned wine line up of Rosé, Red, and Grigio canned wines.
In January, BABE Wine teamed up with cookbook author Pepper Teigen (Chrissy Teigen’s mom) to prove that their bubbly wine goes with just about anything. From nachos and cheese fries to pigs in a blanket and buffalo wings.
Launched in 2016, BABE wine founders Josh “The Fat Jewish” Ostrovsky, and brothers David Oliver Cohen and Tanner Cohen, developed a unique brand-led wine proposition that utilized their extensive social media audience. BABE was created with the mission to simplify the saturated wine category by introducing a fun, inclusive, and portable product to consumers.
