Diageo’s Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has launched a Rye 10-Year-Old to create a new collection of decade old whiskeys
Bulleit has added a 10-year-old rye to its core collection. The new permanent expression joins its equally-aged Bourbon counterpart to form the Bulleit 10-Year Aged Whiskeys range.
Made from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, Bulleit Rye 10-Year-Old spends a decade aging in new charred American white oak barrels. On the nose, the rye delivers aromas of rich caramel and toffee, alongside hints of buttery rye. The palate finds pear-like fruitiness, dry oak, full-bodied vanilla, and a lingering spiced rye finish.

The 10-year-old rye has already begun picking up accolades. At the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits competition, it scored a 98 out of 100 and received a Gold Medal. It was also recognized as a Gold Outstanding Spirit at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition, making it one of the highest-rated American rye whiskies.
The launch of Bulleit Rye 10-Year-Old comes as the rye category continues to grow. Between 2009 and 2019, the whiskey style grew by 1,275%. Since launch in 2011, the Diageo-owned brand has been at the forefront of the spicy whiskey movement.
