Casamigos Cristalino Reposado brings the brand into the rising world of Cristalinos, which filter aged tequilas through activated charcoal, removing its color and enhancing its fruity and floral characteristics. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the red clay soil of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, the reposado is twice distilled and aged in American white oak barrels, then carefully charcoal filtered to restore the crisp, bright agave flavor found in the brand’s blanco tequila while maintaining some of the cask notes.
On the bose, the tequila offers aromas of cocoa and caramel with hints of agave. The palate is crisp and clean with notes of oaky vanilla bean, dried raisin, and fig, with a silky-smooth finish.
The brand recommends enjoying the tequila neat, on the rocks, or in a play on a martini, as scene below:
Casamigos Cristalino Martini
- 2.5 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila
- 1 oz. Blanc Vermouth
- Lemon Oils
- Garnish: Lemon Peel Boat
Combine all ingredients into a glass mixer. Add ice, stir well for 30 – 45 seconds and strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass. Express natural lemon oils from peel over top of cocktail, then garnish.
