Komos Reposado Cristalino Tequila is heading to duty free shop in airports across the Americas
Komos has launched a Reposado Cristalino Tequila. The new expression will be exclusively available in global travel retail (GTR) at duty free shops in major US airports, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America.
The Tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave that is hand-harvested from both the highlands and lowlands in Jalisco, Mexico, and aged for six months in French oak barrels formerly used for both red and white wine. The spirit is filtered with charcoal to remove impurities, creating a crystal-clear liquid, which is followed by a final touch of aeration.
On the nose, the tequila offers aromas of rich roasted agave complimented by smoky minerality. The palate features roasted agave notes along with hints of French oak and nuttiness. The long, textural, and sophisticated finish echoes the agave flavors framed in classy French oak. The brand recommends enjoying the tequila neat, on the rocks, or in delicate cocktails.
