This fudge and lemon flavored milk punch is made to be served with dessert
The only cocktail that never leaves Svartengrens’ menu, the Lemon fudge is made to be served with dessert. This milk punch features browned butter washed vodka mixed with fresh lemon and for good reason has grown into a local favorite. While we don’t think pairing it with one of the bar/restaurant’s famous steaks, the almond cake might be the best direction to go.
Bar manager Ture Wadström tells us:
Name the cocktail.
Lemon fudge
What inspired the name? What’s this drink’s origin story?
We name our cocktails based on the main ingredient, in this case there isn’t really just one so we named it after the flavour profile. Because that´s just what it is, a fudge flavoured with lemon.
We wanted to create a simple but still interesting, blockbuster cocktail. What do people like? Vodka, lemon and butter. We added them all together and voila. The simplest, most delicious milk punch.
What other drinks belong in its family?
It belongs in the milk punch family.
If you like Lemon and Fudge you should try this drink.
What food is this cocktail best served with?
It is best served with dessert. We have an almond cake on the menu now that it goes really well with.
