Heaven Hill Distillery has rolled out a 10-year-old whiskey as the Spring 2024 edition of its Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond bourbon
Heaven Hill Distillery has unveiled the Spring 2024 edition of its 10-year-old Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Made from barrel distilled in Spring 2014, this is the 13th release of the seasonal whiskey.
The spring edition of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond is denoted by its green label and features a tax strip that discloses when the liquid was produced and bottled. Of course, the release features all of the traits necessary to be considered BiB, namely, its of a single distillery from a single distilling season, aged a minimum of four years, and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
The Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Spring 2024 edition features a nose of butterscotch and toasted oak along with floral notes of dried roses. The palate features subtle hints of honey, herbs and green tea. The finish is rich and herbal with notes of cardamom and nutmeg followed by flashes of white pepper and oak char.
“Heaven Hill’s stewardship of the Old Fitzgerald brand over the past quarter century has honored the legacy of John E. Fitzgerald,” said Heaven Hill Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll. “The Spring release showcases the premium quality and craftsmanship of Old Fitzgerald which has been cherished by fans, not just for decades, but for generations.”
Heaven Hill acquired Old Fitzgerald back in 1999, and has since led the brand to being well known amongst many bourbon aficionados.
The Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Spring 2024 edition will be available for $139.99 per 750ml bottle on an allocated basis.

Not all of the brand’s BiB releases are 10 years old. Back in 2022, the distillery released a 19-year-old bottling as its Fall edition.
