Offering over 700 whiskies and a large collection of classic craft cocktails, Seven Grand established itself as Downtown Los Angeles’ go-to place for brown liquor aficionados over a decade ago. Its immediate popularity saw the brand open three additional locations (San Diego, Austin, and Denver), as well as Bar Jackalope–an eighteen-seat Japanese whisky bar–inside the original location. Today, it remains one of DTLA’s go-to bars for those visiting the neighborhood.

What’s the crowd like?
Filled with whiskey lovers and young professionals, Seven Grand caters mostly to visitors rather than to DTLA denizens. There’s a strong after-work crowd as well as pre and post dinner crowd during the week, which keeps the space buzzing deep into the evening.
What am I drinking?
Whiskey or whiskey cocktails. Of course, you could order a beer on draft to pair with that whiskey, but we’d stick to that area.
Is there anything to eat?
Nope. We’d suggest pairing Seven Grand with one of the many restaurants in the area or you could just head to the space downstairs.
When should I get here?
Before or after dinner or if you happen to be downtown and are looking for some time to kill with a good glass of whiskey.
