The Lost Explorer And Annabel’s Launch Mezcal To Save The Amazon

Annabel’s x The Lost Explorer Mezcal

Famed London members club Annabel’s has teamed up with sustainability minded The Lost Explorer Mezcal to launch a special edition bottling made to raise funds to save the Amazon. The mezcal bottling was created as part of the club’s month-long philanthropic drive, Annabel’s for the Amazon, raising funds for The Caring Family Foundation’s restoration efforts through their partner Amazonia SOS.

The design of the limited-edition bottle emulates Annabel’s Amazon Rainforest inspired façade, taking people on an adventure to the Amazon as they sip the espadín mezcal. With just 1,000 bottles available, the unique launch provides an opportunity for consumers to contribute to the cause, with the proceeds from each bottle planting 35 trees.

All money raised through this year’s partnership with The Lost Explorer Mezcal will contribute to planting 35,000 of the 1 million trees pledged, making The Caring Family Foundation and Annabel’s the UK’s largest donors to reforestation in the Amazon.

Annabel’s x The Lost Explorer Mezcal bottling will be available to purchase purchase from 8th September at Selfridges, Hedonism Wines and The Whisky Shop for £120.

Last year, Patrón Tequila teamed up with Annabel’s to create a limited edition bottle to raise money for the Amazon rainforest.

We caught up with Tanya Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of The Lost Explorer Mezcal, to discuss how the brand has become one of the hottest mezcals on the market.
